The Manipal Foundation is a Charitable Trust regd. with Senior Sub Registrar of Udipi under Serial No. 85 of the year 2001-02 at page no. 289 to 304 Volume No. 114 of Book IV and the Commissioner of Income Tax has granted recognition to It. Donations made to the foundation are exempt under section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961 vide No. M-20/80 G(R)/CIT/MNG/2010-11 dated 06.08.2010 valid from 01.04.2010 validity for life.
