Manipal Foundation, in association with various delivery partners has trained more than 80 unemployed youth in and around Bangalore in retail selling skills. All the candidates have been successfully placed in retail outlets of Foodworld, Reebok, Megamart, etc.

250 unemployed youth from economically weak background are being trained in retail skills in Mumbai. They are being employed in retail outlets of leading companies in Mumbai. This is a social initiative involving the South Mumbai MP with his MP Funds, Manipal Foundation, BNP Paribas and India Skills ( training partner)

240 unemployed youth from rural areas of Karnataka were given DTH training in collaboration with Sundirect through Edurite Tutorials. After completion of training these candidates have been assigned to various DTH distributors in their own localities. These distributors are allocating the job of installing new connections and servicing existing connections in their market areas. This is enabling the youth to earn a decent income without having to shift from their homes.
150 youth from Lingarajapuram area of Bangalore are being imparted advanced computer skills through a non profit organization Prakruthi, to enable them to get jobs in reputed companies. The classes are conducted in the evenings. The spin off benefit of this programme is that the school going children of this locality get to handle these computers after their school and they learn the basics of computers.
Manipal Foundation in partnership with Metamorph Learning Pvt ltd provided retail skill training to unemployed youth in Chennapatna, Ramanagaram and Uttarahalli areas. All candidate have been successfully employed in Foodworld and More.
